    Our Lady of Angustiras in the Plaza Vieja, by Eleuterio Alférez, is the winning image of the 25th Dark Arc photography contest and is also the official poster of the Holy Week of Baena, once the City Council has not called the painting contest . Lola Cristina Mata, second deputy mayor and councilor for Culture, explains that this year "we have decided that there was only one poster and that of the Association of Brotherhoods, which is what really represents Holy Week as a whole". At the event, Mata announced that at the end of the month the international tourist interest file will be presented for approval at the next plenary session. It was already "presented in 2013 and has now adapted more to what the call itself demands and articles have been included internationally." In addition, he hopes to have this week the endorsement of the Junta de Andalucía.

    In the contest, Antonio Cano has obtained the prize in the modality of Santo Cristo del Perdón for the photography Awaiting, while in the category of Holy Week in general it has been deserted. The Association of Brotherhoods gave on the occasion of this 25th anniversary of the contest a recognition to the photographers Antonio Jiménez, Jesús Ordóñez and Manuel Priego. Eleuterio Alférez explains that the winner is a photograph of Our Lady of Sorrows taken on Good Friday night in 2014 with high sensitivity, with a very bright and freehand lens.

    On the other hand, the brotherhood of Our Lady of Sorrows of the Brotherhood of the Sweet Name of Jesus, Holy Christ of Calvary and Soledad of Mary Most Holy has organized this year the first proclamation to the Costalero, Brother of Andas, Varal and Palio. The event will take place on February 28 at 12 am in the auditorium of the Professional Schools of the Sagrada Familia (SAFA), by the brother Juan Mariano Fernández. This proclamation is intended to recognize the work of the people who carry the different images of the Holy Week of Baena.
