The Juan Alfonso de Baena Documentation Center Foundation will hold the first National Intangible Cultural Heritage Congress from May 28 to 30. The president of the foundation, Manuel Cortés, explains that after more than a year of the inclusion of the Baena tamboradas in the list of intangible heritage of Unesco, together with 16 other municipalities, this congress is organized that «intends to bring together National researchers specialized in this subject with the objective of knowing this heritage typology in all its aspects ». The first two days of the congress will feature framework conferences, communications and discussion tables, while on the last day there will be an exhibition of drum touches.
